Wall-to-Wall Salon Exhibition

A weeklong exhibition featuring all artwork submitted for the 47th Annual Juried Exhibition prior to the jury selection. The exhibition is a feast for the eyes! A true salon exhibit, the walls of the gallery are covered from floor to ceiling with artwork of all sizes and kinds created by local, regional and national artists. Visitors are encouraged to cast votes for their favorite pieces with the ever popular "People's Choice Awards."
47th Annual Juried Exhibition

The 47th Annual Juried Exhibition is the premier juried artist exhibition in Door County. It features the work of local, regional and national artists representing a wide variety of media: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics and mixed media. This exhibit offers emerging artists the opportunity to gauge their development and established artists the opportunity to explore new ideas and techniques.
2009 Collection Invitational Exhibition and Collector's Choice Benefit
July 18 - August 30
Opening Reception Fri. July 17, 2009; 5 - 7 pm
The collection exhibit presents works of art by select, established regional artists. The exhibit highlights two works from each artist, one for display and one a donation in which to support the nonprofit FHCA. The donated works are prominently displayed and featured in a silent auction that will run throughout the duration of the exhibit. This annual exhibit is regarded as one of Door County's premier exhibitions for professional artists. Visitors and collectors alike will find this is an excellent opportunity to see the vast selection of the areas finest artists' and to add a distinctive piece to a personal collection!
The Community Mosaic Project
July 18 - August 30

The 2nd Annual Community Mosaic Project is an outreach effort conceived by the FHCA that focuses on encouraging a community-wide united arts effort that will perpetuate the growth and awareness of the arts in Door County. A large-scale mosaic will be constructed of 375 individual 6-inch by 6-inch canvases that have been crafted by community members, youth and professional and amateur artists of all skill levels and ages. The individual canvases will be carefully selected and constructed into a colorful mosaic that will hang concurrently with the Collection Invitational exhibit. Individual canvases will then be sold to benefit the FHCA. Workshops will be offered again in conjunction with the event.
The Hardy Celebrates: A Century of Inspiration for the Door County Artist

The Hardy Gallery will unveil the newest addition to the Peninsula State Park’s year long centennial celebration with an [invitational/member] exhibition featuring artwork inspired by Wisconsin’s state treasure. Conveniently located across the water’s of Eagle Harbor, the historic Hardy Gallery, housed in the simple wooden warehouse on Anderson dock and recognized by its boat name graffiti, provides the ideal backdrop to take in breathtaking views of the park and see them through the eyes of an artist.
