Guntis Lauzums journey in photography began in the 1970’s having received a 35mm camera as a college graduation gift (Bachelor’s degree in Geology). He was shooting and developing his own film and prints and ended up receiving a AAS degree in Photo Instrumentation (High Speed Photography) from Milwaukee Area Technical College a few years later.
Today in the digital world his passion is creating and exhibiting photographic art. His work explores Abstraction and Minimalism with studies of lines, geometrics and shadow.
