Julia Redwine began her career as in Interior Designer and graduated with a B.A. with Honors from the University of Illinois. During her schooling she was active in the arts creating drawings and three-dimensional objects. For the next 40 years, she owned and operated an Interior Design firm in the Chicago area, working in both the residential and commercial fields.
In 2014, Julia decided to return to her roots in art and take a class at Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. It was here that she learned the techniques of oil and cold wax and began to find her voice. She now has a Studio in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin where she paints and conducts workshops to teach others about the techniques of Oil and Cold Wax.
Her works can be found in private collections throughout the Midwest and Southeast, a yacht on the Great Lakes and a local Home Accessory Store. She has also shown her work at the Guenzel Gallery and the Hardy Gallery.
