Fulwiler received his BA in studio art and design from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay ('17) and his MFA in painting from the University of Arkansas ('22). He is a recipient of the 2022 Windgate Foundation Accelerator Grant. He brings a wide range of experience in the arts sector such as co-directing the sUgAR art gallery in Fayetteville, AR, museum education at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and most recently Assistant Professor of Painting and Gallery Technician at the University of Minnesota - Morris.

In his painting career he has shown in exhibitions in Arkansas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee, Ohio, and New York. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, CoFounder, and Walmart Home Office.
